pretty boring stretch since my last post.

playing runescape again, which i find to be a great language opportunity. i have difficulties distinguishing the intricacies of oral language, obviously hindering my progress in learning it. however, it is rather difficult to mishear a written word. i am having conversations with strangers in written German that i can understand, and if i come across a word which i do not understand, i can search for it on the single word translator open in another tab, and mark the word in notepad for later. seems to be working pretty well so far.

made a slap bet with Björn today. regrettably, i cannot go into details regarding the bet as it may concern you my readers, but after it is fulfilled, i would be delighted to explain.

i had 3 spares today, and read half a book. i sat in the same spot for over 2 hours today reading a book, on a rather uncomfortable surface, with bad lighting, for two hours reading a book. (long time for me). by the end of the day, i couldn't sit still...

not particularly amusing story about my reading today. I had German class first block, then a 45 minute spare before Biology. I spent my 45 minutes in the library, and as there are currently exams in progress for the grade 13s at my school (yes, 13 grades in Germany) there are no bells signalling class beginnings and endings. I do not know the timings for the classes, and as such i did not know what time my class was at. so i sat outside the classroom for a while, thinking it had not yet started, then after misreading the time on my watch, believed the class to already be an hour underway. nobody else was in the hallways, they were deserted and had been for the last 20 minutes. turns out that 20 minutes was the break between blocks. as i said, not particularly amusing, but note worthy.

got a shirt from Wing Tsun today. comfortable white and gray.

found out that the girl i punched in the face on Monday is a friend of a friend from school. awesome.
