rather interesting day today, i went to the pool with Björn and his cousin. it was cheap and complicated. for the three of us, it cost 6 Euros. together. also, upon entering the building, we were given a key with a plastic chunk on the end of it. the plastic chunk must be scanned in order to get in past a turnstile. the change rooms are shared. there is one locker room which branches into three showers. they have many more change rooms than Canada, instead of the usual 3, there were rows and rows of change rooms. once in the pool, i ended up playing ball with a 'kleine mädchen' (actually, she was like 10) for an hour and a half.
HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?
every time i go to a park, a pool, a public area, i end up playing with young children and we all have a good time. last summer i got an entire playground full of children to play duck duck goose. it was awesome.
there was also a little slide.

today, something very unfortunate happened. I have sent the last two weeks building an awesome world of Minecraft, nearly building a massive skyscraper to the top of minecraft with a functioning staircase (takes literally thousands of brinks, takes a very long time to get) but i had the program in German to learn new words. I went to delete my old 2 worlds because i never play them anymore, and i DELETED THE WRONG ONE! i spent 2 weeks on that world! so now i have a new one but it sucks...playing Runescape in German because it actually gives me full instructions, quests, and interaction in German (for when i'm not physically interacting with Germans!) it translates everything to German, go to Runescape.de.  kinda awesome.

school again tomorrow.

reflecting on homesickness, i'm thinking that webcam chatting with my family may be a bad idea because i'll start missing them and get homesick. as is, i'm already missing my movies (i personally have a collection of over 150 movies).

started listening to a new band called "Skillet" yesterday. heard 5 songs, loved 5 of 5, then realized that they are a Christian metal band and their songs are all metaphors for their love of God...damn. they don't sound the same anymore...back to Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold i guess...

my computer's clock backed up 7 hours today. not sure why, just did.
